Isn't using a caterer an expensive undertaking? After all, mom or sis or auntie can whip up some food for most gatherings and let us save money.

Sure, there may be some added expense. But in the long run food has to be bought and prepared. We charge for our time, not the food. In many instances this means you're going to get an imaginative selection of food on a party buffet or a well-cooked and presented meal that will impress all who partake.

A dinner prepared in your home is likely to cost about the same as you'd pay for the same meal in a medium-priced restaurant. And you'll know exactly how it is prepared.

If we schedule a party in a lounge will you deliver the food ready-made or do you need space for prep work at the venue?

In general, we deliver party foods fully ready to eat. Hot foods are kept hot and cold items are presented chilled. We adhere to strict hygiene rules that means you and your guests are never going to be exposed to foods that have been left out too long.

In general, foods are served with the proper disposable plates, utensils, garnishes and seasonings. While self serve works in most instances, we can provide servers where special dishes require assistants to be present.

What exactly do we have to provide?

If we're delivering food to your party you don't need to provide anything. Usually, everything is disposable, so it's just a matter of tossing used plates and utensils in the bin.

Dinners prepared in your home are a slightly different matter. We expect to be able to use your kitchen work space, cooker, oven, fridge and/or freezer. We bring all additional preparation equipment and food with us.

Afterwards, we clean your kitchen to where it was when we arrived.

How much lead time do you require when an order is placed?

Obviously, it's best to plan things ahead. We know what's not always possible. Like any business we must have people available at any given time to meet your needs, but if something comes up we can often put something together in a just a few hours from receiving your call.

In other words, we'll do everything possible to cater your party at a professional level whether we have months or hours to do so. And ... there's never an extra charge for a rush order!
